Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Intern to support our leadership team in identifying companies struggling with operations and exploring opportunities for strategic partnerships. This role offers hands-on exposure to equity-based growth models, investment research, and business expansion strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify companies facing operational or scaling challenges.
  • Evaluate businesses for potential partnerships in exchange for Equity or Long-Term Budget commitments.
  • Conduct industry and market analysis to identify investment opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing financial summaries, research reports, and investment briefs.
  • Build and maintain a database of potential partner companies and stakeholders.
  • Support leadership in partnership discussions through data, insights, and documentation.
  • Stay updated on private equity, investment banking, and consulting industry trends.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in investment research, corporate finance, or consulting.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear and structured reports/presentations.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
  • Basic knowledge of financial models/valuation is a plus (not mandatory).

➔ Identify, evaluate, and onboard global B2B partners across industries.

➔ Ensure successful integration of partner services with internal offerings.

➔ Take ownership of select Helioustin internal projects and actively contribute to scaling them globally.

➔ Identify problems or growth opportunities and integrate appropriate services as solutions to strengthen market reach and impact.

 

📞 Client Consultation & Meetings

➔ Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand needs and offer strategic solutions.

➔ Present proposals and close deals with confidence and clarity.

➔ Maintain records of client discussions and follow-up requirements.

 

💼 Solution Consulting & Execution Planning

➔ Recommend appropriate Helioustin offerings based on client pain points.

➔ Work with internal teams to design and track delivery models.

➔ Resolve partnership or implementation issues in real time.

 

📊 Reporting & Strategic Insight

➔ Track partnership and integration performance.

➔ Share actionable insights with the leadership team.

➔ Improve client onboarding and engagement strategies.

 

🌐 Market Exploration & Research

➔ Explore global sectors and partnership ecosystems for expansion.

➔ Study market trends and competitor strategies.

➔ Recommend new regions or verticals for partnership growth.

🎓 Qualifications

 

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Strategy, or related fields (MBA/PGDM is a plus)

✅ Prior experience in B2B partnerships, consulting, or client management preferred

✅ Excellent communication and negotiation skills (spoken & written)

✅ Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset

✅ Comfortable managing global clients and time zone flexibility

✅ Proficient in using productivity tools like Google Workspace, CRM, Zoom, etc.

✅ Self-driven, accountable, and outcome-focused

✅ Prior startup, agency, or consulting background is an added advantage
